Perfect spot for family game days
The staff, especially Reggie from the front desk, was accommodating and friendly, always there to help and. Plus, we were just a short walk away from the stadiums.
It wasn't cheap, but considering the location and service, it was still reasonable.

I thoroughly enjoyed its efficient and knowledgeable employees.
It was an ideal and clean hotel with an attached restaurant. The location was particularly good, the staff were eager to help.

New-fashioned rooms, with a lot of space.

The hotel was simply fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and professional. They could not be better. The room and hotel were terrific with lots of amenities. Restaurant was outstanding, and the food selections were out of this world. Whenever I go back to Detroit, I will only stay at the Hilton Garden Inn!
N/A. I loved everything about the hotel.

Location is top-notch if planning to attend any Detroit sporting events. Pretty good combination of value and locale. Staff was very friendly and the room was quite comfortable.
Hotel's valet parking service is not cheap by any means, but still not bad as alternatives are slim.

Were able to walk to Comerica park to watch ballgame as well as to restaurants for dinner and to Greektown for a little gambling. Nice to be that close to the things we had planned for our weekend.

What we liked best was the location. We were interested in visiting the Greektown area of Detroit and this was only a couple blocks away. Also, we discovered that when we want to see a Tigers game in the future, we'll be staying there too. We could see the stadium from our window only about a 10 minute walk away!
As usual with downtown hotels - its the parking. It was only valet and of course you had to pay quite a bit more every night for the parking.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and quite helpful.
I didn't like the fact that your car had to be "valeted" and then there was no mention of the huge cost to do so. $21.00 is quite steep just to have your car parked, and you are already paying to be a guest.

Very good location downtown. Quality is standard with HGInns.
Front desk staff not really motivated and unfriendly. No pool/spa.

Great location and friendly staff.
For the price beds could have been more comfortable along with pillows. Also should have included free breakfast

This place was a perfect match for a weekend adventure in Detroit with good value for cost. The staff was super friendly, especially Jerie at check-in who helped us find great food nearby. Make sure to ask for Shuhab's coffee at breakfast, it's the best!

Hotel is very basic, a little dated but overall clean and good for what we needed it for (basically an affordable place to sleep after a wedding)
We were there on a festival weekend and there was a rowdier crowd that was up late nearby. Could smell them smoking cigarettes in the hotel through our room.

For a hotel in Detroit, you can not go wrong here. We traveled to MI for Movement Music Festival and it was a perfect distance from the festival; very short walk.
There is a small restaurant / lounge named "Central Parke" just outside the hotel which played very loud music until 3 - 4AM every night throughout the weekend, which made it very difficult to sleep. I am not sure if these types of block parties go on regularly, or it was just because of Memorial Day Weekend, but it is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.
